Over 4 Billion Transactions or Text Messages Sent
AuxCHAT is the newest and most secure way to process a credit or debit card, ACH, or cash transaction.
This method is called a push transaction. We recommend this as your default method.
In the conversation tab, you can enter either the phone number or name to search previous conversation threads. If you have ever texted the name or number, it will now show up; click on the thread you want. If no previous threads are found, push the dark grey button to compose a new message.
If you only have one number for your account, click in the text box to write your message or click on the $ to create a Text2PAY request. If you have multiple numbers, select what number you would like to text from.
Once you complete the Text2PAY pop-up (an Amount and Description are required), you may also add an Invoice or PO number for your reporting purposes. There is also a line to add a message that will be visible to your customer.
After pressing send, this will appear in your conversation thread.
Your customer will receive a text that will show your company name with a message containing a description asking them to clink the link to pay.
Once the customer clicks on the link, they will be taken to the Payment options page with their invoice displayed which contains the following:
Your Company Logo
Sale or Authorization amount
Invoice/PO Number (Reference number)
Your message to the customer
Description with the Amount (Cost of)
Convenience Fee
Total Amount Due
Whether your account is enabled for cards, ACH, and/or cash, the appropriate icons will appear as options.
If your customer has completed a transaction before, their card has been tokenized and it will appear. They can simply click on the selected card to pay. They will also be able to add or delete cards.
If a customer has never received a Text2PAY link, they will have fields to input their name, email, address, and card information here.
This is what the customer will see as their receipt.
They can choose to print or, if they supplied an address, email the receipt to themselves.
While in AuxCHAT, go to Payments on the left side menu, and select Payments from the dropdown. This will show you all pending payments, and you will be able to send a reminder message if a customer has not made theirs.
On this page, you will also see two boxes at the top right. These are your Virtual Terminal and Back Office buttons.
By clicking on Virtual Terminal, you can take a payment by phone. Simply key the card or ACH information on this screen.
Back Office – AuxVAULT.net
This is the AuxVAULT back office where you will see a Virtual Terminal. Here, you can search for a customer and charge the card they have on file. You will also be able to access your reports.
Virtual Terminal is the same as the one in AuxCHAT, but here you will have the ability to search for and bill a customer with a card they have stored.
Under Transactions, you will see a list of your transactions and their status. You will have the ability to download a .CSV file for use in reconciling your accounting system. A customer’s transaction history is also listed in the customer section under their record.
